The Edmond Association of Classroom Teachers works tirelessly to ensure Edmond Public School teachers are treated with the respect they deserve. Over the years, The Edmond Association of Classroom Teachers has accomplished many great things! These accomplishments and negotiations include:
- Average $3,000 over the state minimum salary schedule
- District pays the employee’s 7% retirement contribution (district doesn’t have to pay any portion of an employee’s share)
- 5 personal business days (state only allows for 3)
- Sick leave sharing program
- District paid life and disability
- Duty free lunches
- Teacher Leader Effectiveness (TLE) evaluations every 2 years (versus every year)
- Grievance process
- Right to representation at disciplinary meetings

- Elementary class coverage pay
